Like many people, every year I go through a process of developing new-year's resolutions… but I also go through and tweak all my personal productivity systems, and do a full sweep of guiding principles, personal mission, roles, and goals in a manner similar to that described in Stephen Covey's landmark "Seven Habits of Highly Effective People."
For 2009, I decided to publish the majority of my plans, partially to use my readers as a motivational tool—it's harder to fall off the wagon if you've increased the visibility of what you're trying to do.
